Journal 52, Creative Hands

I love creating things and using my hands. I love knitting socks and shawls, even though I don't wear them, because I don't mind the cold. I love making music with my hands or digging in the garden or baking or cooking. Sometimes I appear to be a very cerebrally oriented person. But then I need the creative side to balance the rational part of me.

For this page in my Art Journal I traced the contours of my left hand onto foam rubber and made it into a stamp. For the writing I rediscovered that I had one of those broad nibs in the some lower corner of my craft box and some purple ink. I am going to use this more often for journaling.
